Welcome to the wonderful world of goldendoodles!!

I love Goldendoodles! Our puppies are hypoallergenic F1b standard Goldendoodles. They are UABR registered. We spend a lot of time making sure they are socialized and training them to use a doggy door. They are extremely playful, fun loving and smart! By eight weeks old I usually have them trained to sit and shake. When you get a puppy they will be up-to-date on vaccinations and have a health examination from a vet showing they are in good health.

I hope you love your goldendoodle as much as I love mine. The reasons I love them is their playful fun nature and their love of the outdoors and water. Their Mom, Aria, is a great jumper and loves to lay in the little swimming pool we bought for her. She is my pet and I only do a litter once a year, thus I spoil her puppies and play with and love them as my own babies!

Goldendoodles For Life Puppy Guide:

GROOMING:

Our puppies are mostly poodle and do not shed this means that they will need to be shaved a couple times every year. They may need hair removal from their ears so as not to get an ear infection.

POTTY TRAINING:

Our puppies are use to using a doggy door. If you have a doggy door practice teaching them where it is by going outside and calling them out and then going inside and calling them in.
Your puppy is small and will need to go at least every 2 hours at first, our goldendoodles like to drink a lot of water so it may be more often. Be patient and take them outside often, there will be accidents but they are smart and will learn quickly.

FEEDING:

Our puppies are on Nutri Source small and medium breed puppy food. They are use to eating 3 times a day Morning, evening, and night (every 8 hours). Remember they will usually have a bowel movement within 30 minutes of eating so plan time to take them outside after meal time.

HABITS:

Our puppies seem to love the water and may try to play in the water dish. In the summer they will love to have a small plastic pool to cool down in and play in.
Our puppies love to cuddle, make sure to say their name A LOT and give them praise. They will be missing their sleep mates and are not use to sleeping alone so they do best close to you. Our goldendoodles are very happy, always wagging their tail, and love people. They will adjust to your personality to make you happy.

TRAINING:

Our goldendoodles love to learn tricks. I work with them to learn "SIT" and "SHAKE" by 8 weeks old. When you get one, continue practicing and teaching them new tricks. Here is a list of tricks that people have sent to me that they have taught our puppies:
LAY DOWN
CRAWL
STAY
SPIN
TOUCH (TOUCH HAND)
FOCUS (LOOK YOU IN EYE AND WAIT)
FETCH
ROLL OVER
BIG WORD (BARK LOUDLY)
SOFT WORD (BARK SOFTLY)
BOOP (TOUCH NOSE)
TREAT ON NOSE AND WAIT TO EAT IT
